Update & Upgrade policies
ThoughtOffice updates are free and automatic for all registered ThoughtOffice users. ThoughtOffice upgrades are not free, but all registered users of IdeaFisher, eXpertSystems, and ThoughtOffice will be provided a discount. Registered ThoughtOffice Users are provided free upgrades and updates for a six-month period following registration.
What is an update?
When we add a new feature to ThoughtOffice version 1.5 and it becomes version 1.5.1, this is an update and it’s free for all registered ThoughtOffice users.
What is an upgrade?
When we release a completely new version of ThoughtOffice, it includes a lot of new features and functions. For example, the current version is 1.5, and we release ThoughtOffice version 2.0. This is considered an upgrade and may require a reasonable fee for users of older versions to upgrade. However, when we do release Version 2.0 later this year, any users who have recently purchased ThoughtOffice version 1.5 will be automatically upgraded at no charge. If you are at all concerned about not getting Version 2.0, please contact us right away and we will be happy to resolve your concerns.
